I bought this new, and it came out of the package torn apart!
I had to buy this textbook for my nursing assistant class. I assumes you know nothing and proceeds to tell you everything you need to know about being a nursing assistant. It is a great resource!
This order arrived as ordered. I don't believe we are missing any of the books ordered, the first in months of ordering.The books were clean and rather nice. Some of the books in past orders needed a Lysol wipe to use them!

Having read a number of self-help books years ago, I found that most of them said rather little, and of what was said, the books seemed to repeat each other. It took me a long time, but I eventually decided that I would try writing one of my own, but not like the others. In part, I wanted something that I wished I had around when I was in law school, and after. The book had its beginnings in a bunch of back-and-forth emails with law students, from when I started teaching as an adjunct. And the group emails that I sent to students after classes, where I would go off, sometimes into the wild blue yonder, on topics that I found interesting, and hoped that others might find as well. The Education of a Lawyer doesn't cover the entire waterfront, addressing every topic that someone new to legal education needs. I picked and choosed (probably should have written "chose," but I like choosed instead). Other books can give better advice on studying for the LSAT or the bar exam, for example. And I don't write about working in a big law firm, since I've never experienced that. But most attorneys still work in small law firms, and that's been a big part of my experience, and that's included in the book. Gary Muldoon

Those politicians who are trying to make such protests illegal and the protesters criminals disregard and disrespect our right to free speech.
This is a wonderful book. It well documents the women's marches that occurred in January 2016 across the world. The pictures are funny, poignant, and memorable. I send a copy to my granddaughter to commemorate our marching. I added my pictures to this book so we have a memory book of the event in Washington D.C.
I participated in the march in DC but didn't take many pictures because it was so crowded. I love the book!! It is organized by themes. The quality of the pictures is excellent as is the quality of the paper used in the book. It is approximately 6" by 8". I've looked through it multiple times and so enjoy the memories every time. In the back of the book there is a list of all the cities in the states and countries around the globe that held marches. I love it!!
I gave one to my daughter and she really liked it. She was able to find a picture including someone she knows. I haven't placed the second one yet.
The book captures the moment. I was at the D.C. March. It was peaceful.Overly crowded yet not stifling. These pictures paint the day perfectly - the faces, the posters, the conversations. I could almost close my eyes and these photographers transport me back to the 21st. Bravo. Spectacular. A must have book for both people who attended and did not attend the March

I love how positive this book is. Every sign is creative and inspiring. If you didn't march that day, this book will give you a good feel for how cities around the world joined together. If you did march, you'll look through these pages and recognize so many of the amazing people who marched alongside you. I flip through the book often and I discover something new each time. I'm going to buy two more to give to my friends who marched with me.
I was so excited to receive this book. What's better than women coming together en-mass, showing what peaceful demonstration is, and "This is What Democracy Looks Like!" Stand up and be heard is a message we all need, and it's conveyed here.
