Oh the joy of this cookbook. I currently live in Charlotte, NC and my family has driven to Asheville just to eat breakfast here on multiple occasions (it's two hours each way). The food and the staff are that amazing. We will still make the drive because Asheville is so cool, but now we can sometimes eat their food at home. Amaretto Marmalade is my FAVORITE and I am beyond delighted that you shared the recipe. This book is a true representation of updated southern cuisine and you should BUY IT! Plus, the photographs and book quality are lovely ❤️

I more I read this, the more I love it. The biscuit technique is wonderful and who would have thought to use an ice cream scoop??

There is not a recipe in the book that I do not want to try. All of the recipes are relatively simple and do not depend on hard-to-find ingredients. These recipes are also more practical than most in terms of time required to make them.

I made two recipes from this cookbook with mixed results. The Cathead biscuits turned out absolutely dreadful...no one in my family could eat them. The proportion of five cups of flour to one stick of butter just can’t be right...the biscuits turned out like dry flour bombs. I also made the Sausage Gravy recipe using Jimmy Deam sage sausage and it turned out wonderful. I did have to throw away the biscuits and buy some quick bake biscuits to have something to eat with the gravy.From a design standpoint, this is a gorgeous cookbook. I was drawn to the deboss “letterpress” detail of the cover and the photography.

This book has all their greatest hits that are served at their restaurant. I made a few of my favorites at home and they were just as good as the restaurant! I haven't tried any of the biscuit recipes yet because I love biscuits and I'll eat too many.

Yum, everything in this book is great. The directions are easy and the recipes will leave you and yours happy!

Absolutely my new favorite cookbook. Breaks down recipes to manageable amounts. Everything has turned out delicious.

I am lucky to live near the Biscuit Head restaurants. These recipes are straight off the plates, filled high with goodness. The recipes are great - but won't stop me from returning to Biscuit Head every chance I get.
